Probably about 150 engines and associated paraphernalia including a few pre-1900's engines and other rarities - an excellent show, though tiring with huge numbers of hot-fog, classic cars, bikes, tractors, horses, etc. etc!

Hi Mark, that "Ideal" is the first one I have ever seen using a Wico EK.

the "Origional" didn't seem to use that Mag. Has anyone ever seen another with an EK?

Well Dave,

You are definitely one up on me because that is the first Ideal I've ever seen in the flesh.

It looks like an original fitment as far as one can tell.

Always a good show, though tinged with sadness as for us it is usually the last of the season. That 21hp Petter S really is something isn't it!

Nick, Never fear Martin's here, Haynes Rally south of Bedford on A6 this weekend, Kettering Rally off of A6 north of Bedford. or 15th Oct Apple day Bromham mill where yours truly and friends will have a display and don't forget Internal Fire 8th October. No need to be sad Nick, rejoice and Allaluluah.

Isn't the Kettering do off the A14, east of Kettering on the Finedon road (A510?) or has it moved to a new location??

It used to be at the top by the A14 where the A510 joins.

You forget I come from the Bedford end and Hugh gave me the rough directions for next weekend, not my fault and I'm sticking to it :-))
