Would anyone be able to tell me whether Ruston and Hornsby ever made a generator?

They certainly supplied engines with generators as complete plant, and probably also made the actual dynamo/alternator as well, up until the 1930's or 1940's when war production would have seen the more specialised rotating machinery people concentrating on that side, leaving Rustons to engine production.
