Toy addition - another LISTER D driving a Tuke and Bell "Brownson" Pump

Not as rare and unusual as Arthur's New Way but I have never seen a pump like this being driven by a D. I have emailed Tuke and Bell and was suprised at a very quick response sending me some scans of a 1956 brochure and an offer of spare parts if I require any. The attraction for me is that it was supplied by Tuke and Bell to a local builder that my father in law worked for who installed it in a local village Hospital. With it came the original packing slip and documentation.

I have re-hashed the menu page of the web site to make (I hope) navigating easy so click on the "New Pumpset button to see some info and pics. The unit has been restored but painted the wrong colour....soon fix that.

Pete, they don't have to be rare to be interesting. I really like this unit - it's like a Petter M pumpset I was tempted by recently. It's heartening to think that the pump makers are still in business.

You say it's the wrong colour - what colour should it be?

Arthur,

The whole unit is painted British Racing green, the engine should be mid Brunswick green but I will have to get back to Tuke and Bell to find the original colour. The photographs of the restoration I was given with the engine shows the pump in a light blue.
