Copenhagen Fields by, IIRC, Model railway club always struck me as a monotone, and monotonous, grey. i remember admiring the way it curved round from the left but my overriding impression was the unrealistic to my eyes lack of colour.
perhaps it was a bit browny - so their reference books had obviously been sepia toned.

must admit I got the idea from Bob Esserys '...Train Operation' series where nearly all the pics of models are in grey.
