Sorry Jane but Met "A" stock runs 2 x 4 cars & central line did run 2 x 4 cars with 1962 stock.

But that doesn't change my original premise that, apart from odd lines like the East London, LUL does not run 4-car trains.
Chesham shuttle is 4 car A stock aswell, you are correct otherwise.
