Sorry Jane but Met "A" stock runs 2 x 4 cars & central line did run 2 x 4 cars with 1962 stock.

Chesham shuttle is 4 car A stock aswell, you are correct otherwise.

These days, yes, but I can remember them running off-peak or weekends on the Bakerloo line circa 1957.
