Peco track question

Jan 02, 2005 5 Replies

Hi all,

I've got some Peco turnouts that I am trying to identify. I know that they are Streamline code 100 insulfrog. I have two lengths and I'm not sure if I have the medium and small or the medium and large. The larger is 26cm long and the smaller is 22cm. I also have a 22cm Y turnout. Can someone please let me know what I actually have?

thanks

Simon

The 26cm turnout is a large radius turnout SL-88 (right) or SL-89 (left). The catalogue gives the length as 258mm and nominal radius of

1524mm (60").

The 22cm turnout is medium radius (SL-95 right or SL-96 left). The catalogue llength is 219mm and radius of 914mm (36").

The 22cm Y turnout is a large radius Y turnout SL-98, catalogue length is 220mm and radii of 1824mm (72"). The angle is 12 degrees (i.e. 6 degrees left and right of the centre line). The other turnouts have an angle of 12 degrees from the centre line.

Wonderful!

Thanks for that.
