Are there any proprietry 12mm diameter wagon wheels readily available that could be slid off their (2mm) axle to be fitted on a non-common existing 2mm axle with knurling? Unbushed metal wheels won't do the job - as in one wheel insulated, one not insulated.

Sold by both Hornby and Bachmann as well as wheel suppliers like Alan Gibson and Markits and Steam Era in OZ.

Not so sure about Steam Era. According to his website there are only
14mm Disc wheels available now. If you like I will ask David Foulkes about the 12mm versions at the AMRA Exhibition at Box Hill on Monday.OK thanks pat
