Canadian Supplier for ornamental fence stuff

Thanks for reading this. ........As the topic states, I am looking for a Can.supplier for fence post caps. I have Googled and can't seem to find what I have been looking for. I have some decorative iron fencing that I wish to put in my front yard but need matching fence caps to match the tops of a brick structure I am tying this fence into.

I HAVE found this in Texas located here:

It is in the 4th row up from the bottom (part #NC809) and they are 4" newel post caps.

I need 10 of these....I didn't want the hassle of dealing with customs an UPS and these "brokerage fees" and Lord knows what else for shipping to Canada. Thanks for any replies....Jim

Canadian customs are akin to the US mafia. Whenever goods, services, or money change hands, they want their cut.

IF (caps intentional) you can get the shipper to specify "gift" on the customs declaration, you might slide through. But, coming from a commercial shipper, that may be chancey, and if you get caught, it might cost you more than it is worth.

I am an ebay PowerSeller. Canadian customs has always been a royal PITA. I dread Canadian buyers. I once had to provide a credit card with an open ended agreement that if they determined the fees to be more than paid, that they would charge my credit card. I altered my ebay shipping policies accordingly.

If you can't get it in Canada, you have to pay what they want.

Canadian Customs and the US mafia have the same motto:

"You got a problem wit dat?"

Jim,

Obviously, Texas is not Canada. However, in Houston there's a place called "Triple S Steel". They are a very big outfit and supply many other companies.

They import a line of ornamental iron made in Italy. If you start with them and then go upstream I'd be surprised if somebody's not marketing the same line in your neck of the woods.

The line consists of pickets, ballustrade pieces and such, in both steel, aluminum and brass if I remember.

The steel line is really nifty stuff. It's been BLACKSMITHED and is very attractive. You can weld it up and it looks like it's been custom made.

Bezdan is very popular in the vancouver area. My boss uses them regularly and has the catalogue in his office. I am sure they would ship across Canada. It would be better if we just joined with the South and leave Ottawa by itself. We could sell our souls to the 'mericans and at least we would have a good time doing it rather than what we have with the Liberals.

Well, Randy,

Why don't y'all secede and join Texas?

Then, maybe we'd be bigger than Alaska!

I'm going! I'm going! Sheesh! Pushy aren't we! Good idea! Alberta and Texas are already joined at the hip economically. Randy

I realize you specifically wanted Canadian, which I can't help with. However, I spent quite a bit of time with the guy who runs Rik-Fer USA at the BAM conference. He is a pretty reasonable guy. The iron is forged and mostly unfinished (except for scale...). It looked like pretty nice stuff. I have no idea on price. Here's the web page:
