Got a Miller LMSW-52 at an auction awhile back. I used it a few times, but now it won't work. Transformer hums, but no weld. Anybody have experience/advice on this unit? Thanks.

I have the same one.
You can download the manual from Miller's website
The most common cause is bad contact tips. If they get loose and overheated you get a layer of copper oxide in the threads that prevents full contact.
There isn't much else too these things. A transformer and a switch. The switch could be bad. It costs about $25 to replace.
Might try to read the AC voltage on the bars. See if something is there. Often there is a low voltage light bulb wired to the two mains - to show function. Then like Ernie said - it is in the threads or contact tips.
