Is anyone using this motor. More specifically is anyone in the UK using this motor. I have just bought one to use with a Phoenix 25 esc. I will be driving an 11x4.7 GWS slowfly prop though a GWS 6.6x1 gearbox. I am hoping to get 40oz static thrust on a 12 oz auw foamy plane. Performance should be fantastic.
not me, but try
dont use that motor. Use the 2015-4100 wind........use a 12x6 gws prop and a 6.6 : 1 ratio........I don't think it will make 40 oz of thrust tho...maybe 30, but that other motor will draw too many amps and your flight times will be short. I know this from experience.
