Maybe you could have a look at the history books Todd - Japan was having a nice little dispute with China when the US poked its nose in and cut off their oil - can't blame them for going at Pearl after the US pulled that act of bastardary can you?
I 'misspelled' that because sadly I was using an american dictionary - couldn't be found anywhere in the sections for blacks, single parents etc - I didn't look in the section for middle class whites tho - is it there?
The only difference gun law really makes in the UK is that accidental
Yes, and you can still get full automatic weapons in the US, but you have to apply for them with the ATF. IMO they should be just as easily bought as a handgun.
So it must be impossible to get handguns and fully automatic weapons. That's what you are going to need when you find out that the socialists have taken all your rights away and you live in a fully totaltarian government.
Perhaps you should have a look at the history books. Start with one on 'The Rape of Nanking'. 'nice little dispute' indeed. Great description from someone who allegedly 'care about people other than themselves'.

I certainly can, silly ass. However, I suppose that you'll use this logic to give us a pass for anything that we do to folks (like OPEC) who tamper with our oil.
Anyone in this country (yes, that includes all the feel-good trampled minorities you can think of) has the opportunity to attend school, gain knowledge and skills, and prove their value to employers. That many choose to not do so is hardly the fault of the system.
Unless you fault the system for making it too easy to survive while doing nothing other than consuming resources and producing fecal matter.
Attacked Japan for no good reason? All of that Socialism has finally rotted your brain. Japan started a war with China. The Untied Stated didn't fire a shot, even after having one of it's warships attacked. If cutting off trade with a country can be construed as an "Attack" WWIII has been raging for a LONG time.
You people have a LOT of room to talk about "Helping other countries"

USA has increased foreign aid by 1/3rd in the last two years. Australia, on the other hand, has once again failed to increase its foreign aid budget.
You are right about one thing, we spend way too much of our money helping other countries.
You berate us for civilian deaths in Iraq, sounds like you would prefer Saddam and his kids were still running things, cutting out the tongues of anyone who uttered a word against them, and doing worse things to THOUSANDS of their fellow citizens. Then, you say that Japan was justified in attacking us because we stopped trading with them? They killed a couple of thousand sailors in an attack that didn't even have a declaration of war connected with it until hours after it was over. So, would the people in Iraq be better off with a leader and his kids who went so far as to kill their Olympic team because it didn't win? After the attack on Pearl Harbor, we should of apologized to Japan, opened up their war material supply and let them make Australia a resort destination. (After, of course killing all of the residents) Only good part of that is YOU wouldn't be around.
Yeah sure! We blew hell out of them at Pearl Harbor!
OK! Next time we'll wait until the "other side" knocking on our shores. Of course that does mean that you and yours are long ago conquered and probably butcherd! Or worse! Enjoy!
So you think Japan had a right to attack China? You been listening to re-runs of Tokyo Rose maybe?
And where was the attack we supposedly made? We told Japan we would cut off the oil if they continued. It was their choice. They just screwed up and chose wrong.
But guess what Todd? Using David's own logic. If it was OK for Japan to attack us for cutting off their oil, then it's OK for us to invade the middle east! Especially when oil prices go up. Shucks! Who should we line up next?
