I cannot find where to turn it on and off? The crummy book Acad2007 bible by Ellen Finkelstein doesnt help. Brian.

It's in the plot dialogue box. If you can't see the button, check the lower right hand of the dialogue and if the arrow points right click it. The dialogue box will expand (give more options) and uncheck "plot stamp on".
If that doesn't work, someone (cad administrator perhaps) has created an rtext macro that creates it, in which case you will have to go talk to them.
