You do not have to pay for it or sign up for it to be using it. Please tell me how you managed to get this message here without using it.

Also you are posting binary/html format, which is as bad as top posting in text groups.

If it's short, sweet and to the point, why not. If it is a reply where context is needed to make your point, that's a different matter. But some folks feel like they're 'Gods gift to the internet' and have to boost their ego by running down others.

usenet.  You are.

You paid and signed up for it when you got a connection to the Internet. You *are* using Usenet (apparently via Cox Communications network). Here are the significant headers from your article which demonstrate it beyond any question:

Path: eagle.america.net!falcon.america.net!tdsnet-transit! newspeer.tds.net!nntp1.roc.gblx.net!nntp.gblx.net! nntp.gblx.net!priapus.visi.com!orange.octanews.net! news.octanews.net!news-out.visi.com!petbe.visi.com! news.tele.dk!news.tele.dk!small.news.tele.dk! npeer.de.kpn-eurorings.net!cox.net!news-xfer.cox.net! p01!okepread03.POSTED!not-for-mail X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2720.3000 Message-ID: Date: Mon Jan 5 15:12:56 2004 -0900 NNTP-Posting-Host: 68.103.20.238 X-Trace: okepread03 1073347943 68.103.20.238 (Mon, 05 Jan 2004 19:12:23 EST) NNTP-Posting-Date: Mon, 05 Jan 2004 19:12:23 EST Organization: Cox Communications

You are using Outlook Express, which is connectiong to the NNTP (Network News Transport Protocol) server which Cox provides for your use. That server is indicating in the Path: header above that it is on their internal network and connects via their Intranet and then the Internet to the server at npeer.de.kpn-eurorings.net, then through a number (count them) of servers until it eventually lands on falcon.america.net, which is the provider that my ISP contracts for Usenet service.

Which is all to say, yes you are *definitely* using Usenet! What you didn't realize is that Usenet is a /logical/ network rather a physical network. It primarily uses the Internet (a physical network) for transport, but it can and does use other means too (uucp/modem calls, CD's, bbs's, Fidonet, etc. etc.).

Welcome to the "Net"!

You are a total retard. *Flicker* is very easy to detect. Perhaps your little mind is has "motion" and "flicker" residing in the came cell.

Perhaps she would know, since I got there before your daddy. She is into the anal thing, as everyone well knows.

Gees dickwad, I wish I knew everything my employer did! I certainly am not in the position to claim credit for things I've never even seen! OTOH, you claim credit for the rain.

What a maroon!

Oh, so told-about == did

I guess there is some Resume inflation going on! Yikes!

Ross, he needs help. Unfirtunately the psychiatrist flunked his diode-drawing test, so he's suffering sans meds.

Since we *were talking about display speeds", irrelevant. English has this curious ability to be read many ways, depending on context. ...though you wouldn't have a clue about English nor context (repeat for any subject).

My Thinkpad A21p is the primary and an IBM P260 (CRT) as the secondary. Yes, a 3200x1200 desktop is indeed nice. Once one goes dual head one doesn't do back without fighting.

They, you make an entertaining measure. The best I've seen is a seven-DimBulb rating. The best I've done is five DimBulbs, so I am a little behind here.

Hey, I'm just trying to get everyone to be their best, there DimBulb!

Seven is the record, so you have a ways to go!
