That moron Bogus and his sock puppet Paul.

Gee Bogus, I mean brainless, gets his ass kicked in an argument by me then claims he's killfiling me. About the same time comes this guy Paul who just happens to agree with brainless, I mean bogus, and posts through prodigy from SBC internet services the same as Bogus frequently does. What a big f***in coincidence. Fucking moron. At least you werent so f***in stupid to do it from the exact same ip address, that I found yet anyway.

I have 3 questions.

  1. Do you use dialup?

  1. Do you use earthlink?

  2. Do you live in Atlanta?

Thanks

Punch Job, we are intelligent people here. We are not your usual drinking buddies, SO you do NOT have to punctuate every sentence with filthy language. You should learn to express yourself better and then you wouldn't have to fill the empty spaces with curse words. And I agree with BogusID. I do not join anything that requires me to trade my personal information to enter their website. Identity theft is very easy. With a small amount of information thieves can go a long way.

Now from Brainless, I mean Bogus:

BogusID != Paul

That is, the persona BogusID here does not equal the persona Paul here.

They both use OE [different versions showing a different Win] as a newsreader and they both have the same provider & DSL; but they are geographically far apart [northern CA vs central TX], use different OSes for newsing [XP vs Me], have different posting histories, and different handwriting.

Already mentioned that. It doesnt mean shit other than that Bogus has two computers. Prolly a work one and a home one. A laptop a desktop. WTF ever.

and they both have the same provider & DSL; but they are

Going on the same thing youre goin on Jr. G-man thinks I'm in Atlanta. I'm further from Atlanta than you think they are apart.

use different OSes

Like I said one jerk off, two different f***in computers. Anybody usin Me oughta have their head examined anyway. Biggest piece of shit MS ever produced.

have different posting histories, and different

Handwriting looks the f***in same to me. They both think they are Usenet cops. They both have a stick up their ass. The odds are they are the same free speech hating jerk offs.

Nope I'm not Paul and Paul is not me, my name is David. (BogusID is just a convenient way of avoiding spam.)

Not seeing the original 'sock puppet' remark, I'd guess Paul and I both use Pac Bell/Prodigy for our news server connection?

Go figure, that SBC/Pac Bell has more than 1 customer using their internet services...

Sigh.

You can't 'go by the same thing I'm going on' because knowing when and how to use vs ignore which geographic clues is tricky.

Your IP rDNS Dial1.Atlanta1.Level3.net because that's the way level3 chooses to handle it. Various geo tools show the IP could be anywhere from SC to ME - so I wouldn't go around saying that your IP indicates a geo location very accurately.

Other providers handle their rDNS functions differently than level3's connections which is why I placed more confidence in the swbell.net DSL rDNS than the level3's.

Holy CRAP! Someone's still actually using Me? That's one step above Microsoft Bob...

Well I'm using XP, on all my computers.

Does Microsoft still offer online program updates for ME? I am doubting they go back farther than W2K these days...

Reply to
BogusID

NOTHING supposedly back further than XP service pak 1, the older stuff might be present but not changed..

My 2K SP-4 still updates. XP sucks IMHO, EULA, verification crap everytime you turn around etc. I know a bunch of people who have stayed with 2K.

EXACTLY.. lean and mean OS.. 1 better for internet, but its a toss up, with a GOOD fire wall. and Zone Alarm dont make it in my book-changed to something else and it was AMAZING how much the onboard programs were talking thru Zone Alarm --Shiva--

I have never seen a really good review of zone alarm. Prior to replacing NIS2003 I did a lot of comparing and research and NIS2006 is IMHO the best software firewall for win2k. NIS2007 has a much better license but it doesn't support 2K. 03 was buggy compared to 06 or 07.
