I''ve been working a Star Trek-type Vulcan harp, a project much harder than one would think. One thing, those curves make it extraordinarily difficult to clamp the individual pieces together as the clamping force gets dispersed, and routing it is tricky as a router zips along, almost hydroplaning on those curves, requiring considerable effort to control it. Is there a particular engineering term for a shape that has unuausal or peculiar properties?
