hello group. a'm a newbie to proe (wf v2.0). i want to use perspective as default view. i was able to set it up throug view menu but every time i hit redraw or switch between shaded/wired modes it comes back to isometric. i really like to work in perspective (like nx does) but is there any way to do it in proe? thanks in advance.

DVG, sorry man your out of luck here. Pro doesn't hold perspectiv views, they are pretty much for pretty pictures
Did you try the Trimetric view?? Some people prefer this over th
isometric view, but it's all a matter of taste
Good luck, and welcome to Blow-Engineer Lack of Fire 2.0

thanks GWDavis28. trimetric is a default view in proe AFAIK. its a real pity that it can't handle perspective dynamicly-its pretty cool and useable since its more realistic representation of an object IMHO. hope it would be fixed in next release .o) regards.

Doubt it, but we can only hope

There is a config.pro option called orientation which allows you to choose between isometric, trimetric and user-default.
