Got any chicken? No? Alright, one camel burger with a side of sand pie, please.
Not to be a dick about it, but hurry up and plant a bomb and buy a lottery ticket, then! Your chances must be very good!

some famous terrorists come from the Middle West, people like Tim McVeigh, William Pierce, Matt Hale, and who was that kid that shot up the high school last week?
we're all shocked by the things they did. but I bet they all had legitimate ID, just like the 9/11 hijackers.
Please don't read into this things I didn't say. We are currently at war with extremist Muslims. McVeigh et al are pretty much isolated incidents -- not backed up by organizations that chant 'Death to America'.
By the way, my wife is from the Middle East, and my kids have dual citizenship. I have also been very high up in some of these related ethnic organizations -- so don't jump to assumptions. I call them as I see them -- and right now, I view the WORLD as being in danger from extremist Islam (not 'normal' Islam).

Sounds pretty accurate to me.

Just heard on the news that there are extra expensive background checks now required for all HAZMAT drivers. Mnay drivers are just throwing in the towel and not bothering to get them. That means fewer choices to ship HAZMAT inthe future, which will mean higher prices for everything HAZMAT from our rocket motors to paint and some glues and on down the line.
The quote I heard on the news last night from a driver was that if it prevented one attack, it might be worth it, but he thought it was just a waste of time, effort, and $$$.

There is ZERO indication background checks will improve safety or security of hazmat. This is a police state action pure and simple.
A "terrorist" will simply ignore the rule which ONLY applies when transporting it, not any other point in the chain. And "all DOT enforcement is post facto".
Jerry told you so.

Should we now post several scenarios that bypass this futile, expensive, and invasive policy?
Why? Do you need fresh ideas for shipping motors er... model airplane parts?
I can help him with a phone call or two..(:-) Let me know if he is interested..;-)
not true at all - find out who William Pierce is
extremists (fundamentalists) of all stripes are the enemy.
interestingly, at a trade show, they had motors being used for model free flight gliders
