Something to note. D12 E9 might be doable if you GUT the plane and install ultra light geat and especially battery (the 4xAAA is a small brick :-)

You've snipped so much we can't tell wnat you're talking about! But if it's the HobbyLabs SR-71, this combo might worked chad staged where the D12 drops before glide.
