Sealed military record?

Reelection.

I agree with alot of what you say, but not that. Wars are quagmires as a rule. This one is no different. The only time the war will "look good" is after combat is over and the administration who was elected 2-3 terms after Bush spins it into a victory using newly developed real-time internet feeds to everyone's homes, phones, appliances, transportation modules and workplaces.

I don't thnk he will realize it actually.

No way...tomorrow will be when the crying starts.

Whoever loses will whine and moan, on and on.

I'll give you two guesses, but you're only going to need one. Here's a hint... The prisoners were NOT jumping all over each other trying to give away information to the "enemy". But, the US military did get a lot of info out of them. And they didn't get it by offering the prisoners a ham sandwich. The press and all the lefties should be ashamed of the big stink they've made. Those guards should not be going to prison for doing their jobs. They should be receiving medals. Have the press and all the lefties forgotten what Bush let happen on September 11th? Seems that some of the Islamics have used their religion as an excuse to change the rules of war. Civilians and children are now valid targets? If Bush-league had any balls, and wanted to get re-elected, he should have nuked Afghanistan on the 16th. About a dozen 25 megaton air-bursts would have done the trick. He could have then asked the rest of the Islamic world if they had any questions about how we handle terrorism... And if you think that's a bit much, ask yourself what would have happened if they had pulled that crap in Beijing... Weather report for Kabul... 12000 degrees and mushroom cloudy...

Sort of like what Hunter Thompson said about what Nixon's 1968 "secret plan to get out of Vietnam" actually was: let it drag on just long enough to use it as a campaign issue in the 1972 campaign.

They may get a lot of "information" but I don't know how useful answers obtained via coercive interrogation actually are: they tend to consist of what the prisoners think the questioners want to hear...

Bush said years ago the war on terror will last a long time, but that does not mean winning is not the exit strategy.

It worked for Nixon . . .

He already "declared major combat over" once and look where that got him with the press and the whiners :)

Just think of it as a really, really, expensive trial balloon :)

How do you know? Maybe I voted for Bush but don't feel as strongly in his favor as you do. Either way time will tell.

More info - that's not enough to be considered telling us about it.

He responded completely to the inquiry and you beg to be further spoon-fed.

Typical.

This is not a job for everybody who comes here to service Phil Stein (then be criticized for it).

Jerry

There will only be SERIOUS crying if Bush looses.

By your input here.

What additional information would you like?

No doubt. Here in MN I'm averaging about 7-8 calls a day on my cell. I don't have a home phone. When I tell them that they are calling my work cell number they usally apologize and hang up however the last few days when I mention this then they speed up their *speech*. Pretty funny when I attempt to sing their speech :)

Hopefully all the zealots and nutjobs will disappear after today......only to reappear down the road. Trouble is they really think anyone cares about their spooge. Guess they keep getting shot down in the appropriate newsgroup.

Sorry for trying to change the topic to something on topic.

The opinion of someone with your vast experience means so much to everyone.

Jerry - I'd like to write a magazine interview about you. . Here's some questions for you -

What do you attribute your vast busniess knowledge and experience to?

How did that help you draw the conclusion that you should defraud busniess partners and stiff people (via bankruptcy) that trusted you?

Where do you fly? How was the weather? What does the rocket weigh? What motor? How is the rocket designed & constructed?

At least I'm not getting calls on my cell phone. Most calls I'm getting are machines.

They happen so often because it is human nature. Humans resort to violence as a final option, whether the disagreement is between 2 people or 2 million. Until that stops, wars will not stop.

And I don't see violence as a final solution between animals (including humans) going anywhere. Rule of law, rules of society, etc. only work so far and also only when everyone abides. One "rebel" and all of it's tossed out the window, whether it's a nutjob chasing you with a tire iron or a evil "dick-tater".

Your statement that only the mentally lazy resort to violence is naive, although I'm sure it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy to believe yourself such a superior being...til that nutjob with the tire iron shows up.

BTW, did you intentionally mispell "mentally"? ;-)
