The first tests by Tripoli were ran on Feb. 2-3, 1991. Testing was held at Lucerne Dry Lake.

Some of those present were, C. Rogers, USR (guess who?), AT, F. Kosdon and others.

One USR motor, G45 burst during the test.

Motor came from USR, Kosdon, Syner-Jet, Propulsion Ind., Vulcan (I don't think S, Dixon was present) and Rocket Flight.

Results were published in Vol. 6 #2 (June 1991) of the Tripolitan. I gues they could have made them up, we'll sewho says that one.

The next scheduled test was for June 6, 1991.

I like facts.

Of Irvine reloadables on Aerotech equipment operated by Dan Meyer with Powertech partner (current) Charles E Rogers allowing partner Frank Kosdon to fire Powertech (under EXCLUSIVE license to USR as OEM) propellant in Powertech (OEM for USR) cases and certify them as Kosdon motors. Yep!

But never made it to the list. Were never published!!

Roy, I do too, but your statement is inaccurate on its face. The above statement was that Tripoli was not testing 'in-house'. To me, this means an established place, with established equipment, not simply running out to a desert launch to see "what's happening".

I'm perfectly willing to be corrected, however.

When did TMT (the motor-testing arm of Tripoli) actually form? Earliest published date of data under that banner?

It's interesting that you quote my statement that I'm willing to be corrected--I said that your statement was false on its face, gave my rationale, asked for any corrections, and your response is to resort to ad hominem attacks on me.

BTW Dan on ORDERS from GARY (no conflict there, eh) REFUSED to show me any of the data from those firings (but showed wood his, and Frank "my reloadables" etc) and none of THAT PARTICULAR USR DATA ever saw the light of day. Any published firings were previous firings or fabricated firings.

The ONLY motor from that era and it may have actually been one fired at Gary's shop on the same equipment with the same people present was the J880. That WAS published only because it was a personal favorite of Charles E Rogers AND was part of the historic measured mach flights Myself, Chuck Mund, Scott Pearce, and gary Rosenfield did at El Dorado Dry Lake.
