Because I think you guys are the biggest group huggers on usenet? It's pathetic!
Form your own rocketry association and make it work if you think you're so good at it. Stop the bitching! You're the biggest baby I have ever seen.

I disagree. He ONLY looks at the issue aside from how it might help/hurt me. Which I frankly do not appreciate very much as I would prefer he HELP me.
But be that as it may, his remarks are mostly from his background as an expert in non-profit management. Therefore he looks through eyes of such concepts as fiduciary duty, trustee, corporate officer, and others to see aspects most of us do not see. It also exposes the evil underbelly in areas where the very persons running non-profits (such as TRA and NAR) do not see, or see and disregard, or see and openly violate repeatedly.
As the case may be.
If you read his words carefully you will see he is no shill for Jerry. Far from it. He is a supporter of ethics in non-profits.
I WISH he was a Jerry-supporter. That would rock!
Jerry
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
"I also filed complaints against people posting this same garbage on CIS and turned in the people who's IP was back traced. How about some headers to prove your point? If you don't have any, then drop the lies because your accusations are unfounded. You don't have the balls to post using your own name and want to place blame on me for something that originated from Tripoli itself."
- Dave Gawlick
"If you wish to complain to anyone, talk to AT. Have them fix the problem. Or boycott their products until they do. Whatever works for you."
- Norman Heyen
"If (when?) Tripoli fails, it will be due to all of the problems that Jerry, John, Jim, myself, and others have tried to bring to the attention of the management, and now to the public. It will *NOT* be the result of our complaints any more than the Challenger explosion was the fault of an engineer who said "Don't launch it in the cold"."
- Bob Kaplow
"Left to my own devices, I have a philosophy of make neat products, ship them out and bill the customer for it. They pay most of the time. When they don't I have found the word please to work better than a summons."
- Jerry Irvine
Aren't you a barrel of laughs. You drop in here, dump a bunch of unsubstantiated junk (i'm being nice) and then when someone questions you on it's veracity, you get your panties in a wad and start calling names.
Why should we take your word for it that these Tripoli reports say what you say? Why don't you scan them and put them on abmr? Then we can all read them for ourselves.
Histroy shows that the real story usually lies somewhere between the two poles of the reports. We know Jerry's position, he has stated it and backed it up with documents and witness accounts. The real question is, what is the other side. Not just hearsay, but substantiated, documented position.
Bob
This seems to be your opinion of anyone who doesn't buy into your negativity.

You also are a Jerry Irvine minion. Do you form any opinions away from this guy?
It's a well guarded TRA secret :)
I used to write articles (ie in Tripoli Politics Issue) translating the minutes of meetings from Tripoli-speak into a reasonable represententation of what really happened. Then I got tired of rewriting the entire minutes of every meeting I attended. I found it less work to just disregard it all as lies and political propoganda which was accurate 80% of the time.
Heck, an article in Tripolitan which Kelly/TRA published about "Kosdon reloadables" which was reprinted from the San Diego newsletter as "Irvine/USR reloadables" with Kosdon watching and MODIFIED by KELLY was part of a lawsuit hearing. It was blatant falsification. The live witness was the editor of the San Diego magazine who was **incensed.**

Hmmm.

Does buying one motor from him (and being able to engage him in cheerful conversation on this newsgroup) make me a "minion"?
Wow, I never knew. :)

Bow and pray,I command you.
Only if I can try one of your G008's

And exactly what action has TRA taken against the person with a decade long record of ripping off subscribers? Have they expelled him? Have they cut all ties to his business? Have they decertified his products? Have they paid off his mortgage?

It's in the mail with all the missing HPR issues. Didn't you get your s yet?

The temperature limit used to be lower, but was increased when aluminum casing reloads came to market. It may have been 175C. Why 200C? Because it's below 232C which is 451F. Most of us still use paper based motor mount tubes...

Funny how there's a flock of them showing up all of a sudden. I wonder if it's a sign of anything.

TOS or TNG?
Or perhaps the Spanish Inquisition?

As I said, not "in house". The 1991 tests were done by Aerotech on Aerotech stand. There was not yet any TRA requirement for motor certification.

These tests were done on the Aerotech test stand by Aerotech staff. Dan Meyer. There was no "in house" testing set up yet. I don't know if this was actually done or not before John Cato took over. But it certainly was not IN HOUSE as of Summer 1991.
