This link popped up in another NG. Thought it would be appreciated here. Ignore the language, appreciate the pics.

I'm going to clean off my model workbench, give away all my mediocre models, and start a new hobby, like stamp collecting. :-)

Don't knock it, stamp collecting is a lot of fun! One of my more enjoyable hobbies, of which I have many. John

coin collecting is really fun, too. and lucrative if you learn to grade and read.

Yeah, but you don't have to make the stamps or add detailing. :-)

Nah, look a little closer - he missed a couple of rivets. 8-)D

P.S. IN-FREAKIN-CREDIBLE!

What is it supposed to be? All I get is a lot of gibberish when I try the link.

Try this English site.

I collect them too. I collect them in a shoe box. I 'should' get something more elegant to put them in but maybe someday my grandson will have fun with them.

ROTFLMAO!

To quote a friend and Pocher model builder.....

Gerald Wingrove has received the O.B.E. for his work so you shouldn't get too upset if you don't meet these standards. His models, 1/15th scale, regularly sell at auction over $20,000.

Woo, wait a minute here, boys.

Mr. Wingrove and his wife do this for a living and have earned SERIOUS cash (and honour) with it. Go here and wet your apetite:
