Airbrush recomendation

Jan 25, 2004 1 Replies

I am planning on getting an airbrush for just models. I will be using acrylic paints, mostly model masters. I have been looking at the badger 155 and the aztek A4308. What are the pros and cons and has anyone had any bad experiences with any of the 2? I am really open to sugestions. Thank you for your time.

I have a Paasche VL and love it. Previously I owned an A430; it failed once, Testors replaced it, and the replacement was beginning to die when I acquired my Paasche. I wouldn't trade my VL, but you'll find lots of similar opinions regarding other airbrushes, including the Azteks.

My personal recommendation is to buy a brush that you can completely take apart and clean (like the Paasche, Badger, Iwata, etc.)

Cheers,
