Airbrushed Future

Now that it has dried it is obviously the "orange peel" look. I didn't think Future would have that problem.

It can if it dries partially before hitting the model. Future is self-leveling (i.e., shouldn't orange-peel) but it has to be a wet coat to perform. You can (and I do) use a mist coat for the first application to give some tooth for subsequent coats, but even then, it should just hit the model as a mist, not dried particles. The solution is either to reduce pressure or get closer, and to make sure the coat goes on wet, without running.

sounds like spits. put the model vertical to spray so you can back off a bit more. future can glob out. maybe go up to

Another solution is to put down the airbrush and use a wide chisel-edged artist's brush. Self-leveling also means no brush marks.
