Heard that Airfix is splittin with Heller and going with Italiari. they have used a lot of Italeri moulds recently
Going with Italeri - does that mean a half decent Jaguar kit, with the colourful Airfix markings?

That's not on as all airfix kits are done by heller in france, lots of manufacturers use each others kits these days. Ted Taylor
Well a rep said they were distching the heller side and going in with Italeri, hope so as try to avoid buying things made by frogs. The person who told me was a revell rep.

Well so noone else has asked:
What is a "Severn Lifeboat" and what are the kit details?
The Severn is a class of rescue boat used by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution around the coastlines of the British Isles. The type is just one of many in their large fleet, some being solely for inshore work and others for far out at sea. Based at numerous small harbours and on the Thames, crewed by volunteers and funded solely by public donations (deliberately they take nothing from the government) the RNLI will go out and rescue those in peril at sea.
Airfix plan to release this kit in September at about £15 on its own and £25 with the Sea King rescue helo.
