AMT 69 Charger

Hey

Hows this compare to the Monogram kit?

I have one on the way, be a couple of months so a heads up would be good.

I like the Mono kit, although i havent finneshed it(aint we all heard that one before) as a D of H car with a mix of bits from the ERTL kit...........now i wonder, as i wrote that is that the same kit?

Also if anyone has a spare set of rear round lenses/fittings from a 68 Charger they could spare that would be great. I dont want to waste my whole Dick Landy kit just for those bits, esp at the price of the kit.

I think the Mono kit has great shape and engine/interior etc, way about the DofH boxed it, wrong rear screen etc.

ta

I want a round rear lighted 68 rather than the long 69 version.

May I assume it's the Charger 500 kit? Since all RC/Ertl Charger kits date back to the late '60s I'd say that the Mongram kit is superior. I know I dumped my Ertl kits when I glommed a Monogram Charger a few years back. The only one here now is the original MPC '68 that I'm rebuilding.

MPC/Ertl/RC are the only ones to make a 1/25th plastic 'Dukes' car that I know of and they are all the same moulds.

Alas, no. However if the taillight lenses/bezels are all you're seeking Modelhaus does do those in resin. Taillight lenses are $2.50 pr. and the bezels are $4.00 a set.

Now I'm confused. You do mean the two, side-by-side round taillights, a set of each on right and left sides of the tail end? According to my catalogue they stock those as well as the other years of that body style.
