Hello All,
Well, I've got three major problems. My brother just moved recently and found two un-built models I had stored over there for a few years. One is the AMT/ERTL X/YB-35 (1/72), and a Delta2 Savoia Marchetti S.55 X (scala
1/72, Italian kit manufacturer).
Unfortunately, both had the instructions and decals lost from them while stored. The Savoia was in Italian so I couldn't read them anyway. I tried Googling Delta2 but it seems that they are no longer around. Haven't tried AMT yet.
Does anyone have the instructions they can send, xerox, scan, etc. for the Savoia (I don't expect decals, that be too much to hope). English be nice, but I'll take the Italian. Is AMT still in existence and do they have a website (yes I'll Google!)?
Third problem is that in looking in the B-35 kit. some of the outer wing panels have warped somewhat. (Just checked the main body and it seems a little warped as well.)How do I unwarp them?
Don't know what drove me to buy them as I haven't built a kit in (mumble-mumble) years. And even then wasn't that good. Guess it's because they are both flying wings, and had a little more confidence when I bought them. AND the fact they were on sale (Ace Hardware in Berkeley. Their basement has models I haven't seen in years, or in some cases, at all.
Another question. Quite awhile back, I asked about a Captain Hook pirate ship model. Someone suggested using another, because it looked a lot like the Hook ship. Anyone remember which maker and kit. It may be at Ace in Berkeley. Not that I can afford it the moment, but who knows?
Thanks, Eric
