Hi all - Yesterday I printed up some custom decals for a project that I'm working on. I processed the decals using MicroScale paper, and then took the sheet out to the garage and brushed on the liquid decal film, as per instructions with the decal paper. This isn't the first time that I've done this (in addition to insuring old decals won't explode in the water) and other times the results were entirely satisfactory. Not this time. This time, the film puckered up and the decals looked like crap. I cut one and tried setting it on a scrap piece of plastice to see if it would smooth out, but no such luck. Aside from the temperature in the workshop (garage) [last time was in September and 70s, yesterday was about 40 degrees], nothing else has changed. After I painted the decal sheet, I hung it up. Both times I did two coats to ensure coverage. What am I doing wrong? Also, is there a way to spray this stuff onto the paper? Spray bottle or my Badger air brush? If so, should I thin the liquid and by how much and with what? Thanks for any input that you can give me. Regards, -- John (the Old Man)
