PCF Kits (Swift Boats)

So, given all the current controversy, any thoughts on which manufacturer will be the first to make a kit of John Kerry's swift boat, complete with an actual figure of "himself." (Of course.) ;-)

The only Swift boat kit I am aware of is the old 1/48th scale offering from Monogram, which was reiisued several times since its first appearance around

1970. If Kerry is elected, it is quite likely Revell-Monogram would reissue the kit, though a portrait figure in 1/48th seems unlikely. GPO

Just apply really big hair.......

That's exactly what Revell did with the Kennedy figure in their PT-109 kit. And the mini-Bligh in their 1957 Bounty was dead perfect--the shortest statue of Charles Laughton ever made.

Too bad R-M didn't have the foresight to have it reissued now - they would have sold a ton thanks to all the controversy. The newspeople alone would have bought hundreds just to show everybody what a Swift looked like.

But they saved us all from having to look at the model put together by one of the grips, and explained by a haircut who holds it backwards.

Shouldn't there be a figure of Al Gore too, afterall, he invented the swift boat along with everything else! 8*)
