Piper PA-18 Supercub photos?

I'm looking for a few photos of the tailwheel assembly on the above aircraft. I'm building a large RC scale model and want it to be an accurate rendition. Any leads?

TIA,

CR

One of the best aircraft photo sites on the net, IMHO, for civil or military aircraft. Don McIntyre Clarksville, TN

Yes,

The problem is that the shots of the entire plane don't show much detail of the tailwheel strut. It looks like some TWs are steerable snd some just caster. I's how the steerable one are hooked up that I'd like to see.

Thanks,

CR

Hi Charles,

After a quick search on google images the following link looks promising with a nice reverse shot the the airraft which should provide the details your are after, there even be more on the site as its dedicated to Piper planes:

You could probably do a search for Maule tailwheels & Scott tailwheels, too. I think the SCs used either. I bet if you go to a site like

or

& search for tailwheel, or specific to the above manufacturers, you'll find a parts diagram &/or breakdown.
