Review: L'Arsenal 1/350 - 1/400 resin figures

Exquisite. This is the only word which can describe the 1/350-1/400 Naval Figures from L'Arsenal. I obtained mine off the White Ensign Models site. These figures have depth, which is what is lacking from etched metal figures. You get 50 figures in 15 different poses; standing, sitting, walking, stepping up etc. for about $15.00. I paid 8.22 British pounds, which included shipping.

I have to look at these through a magnifier in order to appreciate them. I am going to order more.

I'm trying to figure out how to paint them. I have no idea how L'Arsenal made the molds for them. They are held onto their resin casting blocks by a tiny piece of flash. They snap off easily and cleanly. No saw or special tools are required. These are something one has to see to believe.

For anyone who wants to add figures to a 1/350 or 1/400 ship, these are as close to "must have" items as I've ever seen. When I look at etched metal figures this small, I feel like a welder. When I look at the L'Arsenal figures, I feel like Godzilla, because these figures are so realistic. Do yourself a favor and buy several sets.

Disclamer: I have nothing to do with L'Arsenal financially. I'm just amazed by this product

You only just found out about them? They've been all over the ship sites for a year or so.

Hold them over a light bulb and you can repose them some too. Best way to paint is prime on the "sprue" then just use a fine brush and Vallejo. Works great.
