squadron flyer

Hell, i'm retired too!! And all I can do is look!! So I've chosen some magazines other than the Squadron flyer to look at.

Hell, you see one 1/48 F4, you've seen 'em all. You see one centerfold, and you get to see a different one next month.

Check out some of the alt.binaries.pictures groups and you won't have to wait that long. ;)

none here yet...is it my imagination,or does the speed at which it arrives seem connected to how much (if anything) you bought the previous month?

The arrival of the flyer is up to the respective post office. As I've been informed it's all bulk mailed from Squander at about the same time. If you're not getting yours quick enough, call your local postmaster and ask what can be done. There's no correlation between what you spend and when you get it. hth

Last month it arrived about the 2nd, this month it was the 10th. No rhyme or reason!

I talked to the guy at the Squadron booth at the Nationals. He had some of the flyers there and I told him I hadn't gotten mine yet. He said they were all mailed at the same time the week before. It was waiting for me when I got home. A retired postal worker once told me that they had to have a turn around time of 24 hours for all mail. Now, with bulk mail, they can sit on it for a weekor more. The trouble lies with the post office, not with Squadron. HTH, ~Rick~
