Just got an Airfix Tucano for really cheap- the instructions call for two schemes, the all black with yellow flashes and an all over Humbrol 50% #14
This sounds like on of the special schemes. IIRC, there was an overall blue aircraft at one time, painted for an anniversary or such.
Humbrol #14 is a very dark navy blue, and #15 is commonly referred to as "French Blue". It's a medium blue similar to what French racing cars wore. The colour you want is midway between these two. I suspect it was mixed specially for the event and has no real BSC equivalent.
Try RAF Roundel Blue on the Friediriksson charts (Xtracolor do it)
