Can't get back hidden edges in SW2004.

O.k. maybe I'm simply doing something wrong here, but in a drawing if I select an edge and hide it, I can't get it back. I move my mouse over where it should be and it should highlight so I can select it and un-hide it. You can't. Maybe I haven't got something set up right in the options or something, but it happens no matter what drawing I pull up. Could anyone verify this? I hope it's just my options and not another bug.

Tools>Options> System Options tab> Drawings> check "Select Hidden Entities"

This is definately broken. I even added the Hide Edge and Show Edge buttons to my toolbar, tried using them, right-clicked on the view>properties>show hidden edges tab, deleted Extrude1...nothing is making the lines come back. The select hidden lines in the system properties is for selecting lines that you couldn't see in when shaded or hidden lines are removed, not hidden edges in a drawing. Hidden edges and hidden lines are different. Hidden edges are selected edges that the user decided to hide. Hidden lines are edges of the part that are unseen when HLR or Shaded mode is used.

Darn. Was looking under the Tools>Options>Display/Selection instead of Drawings subcategory. Works as it should. This leads me to wonder, why would you ever want this option turned off and why isn't it On by default?

I would think you would normally want it off so you didn't inadvertently grab a hidden entity in you drawing. Seems that if you have something hidden, it's not meant to interact with the user in that view. I don't know - maybe I'm missing the point here.
