In a drawing of a part, if a section line passes through a rib (or web) it is not normally shown with hatch lines in the section view. Is there any way of preventing this from happening in Solidworks? If you section the drawing of an assembly you can use the Section Scope tab on View Properties to NOT hatch a selected part.... is it possible to do this when sectioning a part on the drawing of that part... ie select a feature (ie rib) that is not to be hatched by the section line???
