REV TABLE

I have created a custom revision table and saved it in the appropriate folder for easy access. However I would like to when I insert a revision the date is automatically formatter as mm/dd/yyyy I would prefer to use an "ISO" style date format where as the date would read dd mmm yyyy I have tried every visible option on the screen, or so it seems Anyone have any ideas on this?

I believe this uses the Windows systems settings for date formatting. In other words, it's at the mercy of the system it's opened on.

Thank u Mr. Dunn;

I went in to Control Panel / Regional & Language Options After some "tweaking" in the short date format (adding my own extra "yy" to the year and removing the dashes and/or slashes) I successfully changed that aspect of my Windows XP pro operating system I then re-opened solidworks and added a revision block Low & behold the date format was exactly what I wanted.

Somehow I will probably end up paying for it, as it will affect some other important program...that damn Murphy guy and all

Thank you again for your expertise Joe Rivas Air Con, Inc.
