SW + WEB + Apps.

Hi Group.



We are planning to use SW together with a web-based app. The app. Will provide all data for a model/assembly in SW. A section view is made For a sales drawing. From there SW should make all parts for the product, based on Different templates/skelletons/prototypes with parameters setup, update drawings, and finally plot pdf/tiff=B4s and return the drawings to the customer in e-mails. All this should be running automatically.



Now the question, have any one made something like this before, is it possible at all..? Hope any one can help ,and hope the above makes sense..

You might check out a product called DriveWorks, an add-in for SW that lets you configure parts based on user input. At least I think that's the way it works - I haven't had a chance to look into it.
