Long story that goes back almost 40 years.
In short, I like truss rod cars, At one time I was interesting the the Colorado Midland and have several brass models of their locomotives. Moving much past 1905 adds locomotives with trailing trucks and the 1880's models I have would be obsolete. So I setteled on 1905 as a good date.
