An On30 C-16 with DCC / DC sound at $239. Reported to be fairly simple to convert to On3. Move over San Juan, move over Brass, Narrow Gaugers just hit pay dirt and some competition enters the On30 field. Bruce

Just recently noticed the announcement of the model on MR's Trains.com site. What bugs me is their continuing reference to the gauge/scale as "On2/12", while almost everyone else calls it On30. Is this a Kalmbach management directive I wonder?

Oops! I intended to write "On2 1/2".

This is good news. Any idea as to minimum radius? Does it have sprung drivers?

If BLI releases a TRUE narrow gauge consolidation, instead of the type Bachmann's releases are, which are nothing more than an amalgamation of HO and On30 cobbled together to attract consumers who want something big and cheap to run around their Xmas trees, they will STEAL the market from Bachmann!

Wih cheap being the operative word, they are something more than something to run around the tree. The trolley is too toylike and the Porters are noisy but the Mogul and the Shay are both milestones. I always wanted O scale narrow gauge but until a few years ago it was impossible. And there is a TON of aftermarket items out there for this stuff, long with all the great HO mechanisms to be had for shop-built things. The Gazette has alot of articles on things to do with this stuff. I just wish O scale structures were as cheap as HO. (and as plentiful).
