Just a note for those that may be interested that nearly all of the contest winning model's photos, photo's photos and arts & craft's photos and the one RR Pass's photo are now online at the NMRA website.

Look under "Education", there is a link there that will take you to the site.

All winners in First through Third and the Special Contests are present. Absent are the Module photos because the photographer left on Friday and wasn't at the Train Show on the weekend where the Module Contest is held. It is planned that this will be an ongoing thing in relation to the national conventions. People involved with this project were Richard Greatorex, Marty Vaughn, Jan Wescott and myself.

The On-line structures that won 2nd place

was the CN Hespeler Station, which I believe was gutted by a fire a couple of weeks ago. The remains are to be torn down if it hasn't happened already.

Yeah, I'd heard. I talked to Charles (the builder) at the last Piedmont Division meeting and he said he'd found out right after it'd happened. Really too bad. He said that there had been plans to refurbrush the station and that some vandalls got in and torched it. Sucks!
