Visited three local hobby shops in pursuit of a length of neoprene tubing to use to couple a motor to a gearbox shaft. Looking for something around .090 or less. Shafts are .091 and .093 ID's. A hint as to propere size would be helpful.

See if you can find some heat shrink tubing for wire insulation. put a short section on each part, a dab of CA adhesive and heat it to shrink to fit. You could possibly build up the shafts enough to use the 1/16 inch tubing.
