Re: Cancel flights, that is a joke, stupid US

I dont think so, If the plane was coming from France it would be full of

> people who wouldnt fight for anything! All the French know how to do is > surrender and give up!

What is it you yanks have against France and the French? They are the nation that helped you become a Republic.

Is there anyone or anything you're not offensive too, Ratborne?

Why are the French such full of themselves stuckup jerkfaces who think they are such a cultural elite and look down on nearly everyone else?

It's just something they share in common with yanks. The rest of us just make allowances for those shortcomings and move on.

Then why were you asking the question in the first place?

P.S. I hear that Australians don't like people from New Zealand. (smile face here)

Guess the UK and the Commonwealth and the Soviet Union had nothing to do with the result of WW II?

While the Americans did contribute a lot, contrary to popular American myth, the Americans and John Wayne didn't win WW II single-handedly. :-)

You also tend to forget that you were dragged screaming and kicking into WW II and that before entering the war, there was very significant support for the Germans.

I doubt Americans think they win the war by themselves. Even prior to "offical" entry into WWII in 1941 the US had contribuated quite a bit in the way of material.

Likely there was support for Germany among some Americans (I think "very significant" might be too great to be correct), but there also was support in the UK (Canada I don't know).

Although the US counts 1941 & bombing of Pearl Horbor as "offical" start of WWII, we are well aware start was 1939 (although, perhaps, Asia might well pick a date earlier in the 1930's).

I suspect even in Canada aspects of WWII might have not been met with universal accord (such as the draft). An interesting web site on Canada and the war is at:

You are laughing about that but stop and think for a minute. Why would terrorist kill the French people and use a French plane. The French were not involved in the war against Iraq or Al Qeada. British planes for sure but not the French. They are a good hearted peace loving people

True, They did fight back then. But we have bailed them out 4 times just last century. WW1, WW2, Panama Canal and Vietnam.

They are just pissed because they are no longer a power of any kind. They still want to be a diplomatic power but they are fools.

I sure wish Germany would invade them today!

I was caused by other posters to wonder what it is/was that yanks have against the French.

We poke a little fun at each other - they have the advantage in numbers, we have the advantage of wit. Outwardly, if you attack one you attack both.

You're the crowd slaughtering innocent civilians - that applies a degree of importance on you that we do not wish to emulate.

Germany has learned, after 5 wars with France, that no-one actually wins but both sides only lose to differing degrees. When are you yanks ever going to learn?

The US provided weapons and technology to Iraq - what's your problem?

The majority of that contribution was for profit and was paid for in Reichmarks, Lira, Yen, Rubels, Pounds and Dollars.

1932 in Manchuria and China and the end of 1941 in the rest of Asia.

How refreshing, someone who knows world history and doesn't goose step to the American movies and history books
