I wondered about that. The car was bouncing all over the place, but hte loco seemed rock steady.

The cars that blew over were most likely empties. Note that the cars in the rear of the train did *not* blow over, and actually rear-ended the locomotive and accordioned before they could stop!

A very similar thing occured ten miles south of here last year when a small tornado tipped over seven empty boxcars, but left the loaded cars on either end of the string standing upright.
