Bradford Gas Engines Co Enclosed Crank 2.5 Hp

Gentlemen,

Please can anybody suggest a source of piston rings, specifically an oil ring for above engine as I have just broke mine.

This won't be much help but the chap with curley grey hair who sells at many south east rallies (lots of magneto bits plus repro silencers etc) seemed to have a lot of EC Bradford bits at Amberley (didn't see any rings but who knows what he has tucked away). I don't know his name but I think he might be a Beds and Bucks member, he was at the Studley Green bring and buy.

As you well know, it's on the A40 near Stokenchurch, and I for one hope the Beds and Bucks will continue to their hold bring and buys there (might even consider re-joining).

If you still require -a- ring (or a full set) try Phillip Daintree, Mailed Classic Car Parts, 22 Hawkstone Avenue, Whitefield, Manchester. M45

Wrong town Martin, its the Bradford Piston and Piston Ring Co. you need, and they're based in Salford, not Coventry :-))

Nick, Sorry if I sounded facicious but I honestly did not know where Studley green was as I was never told by the club as I could not attend they deemed not to tell me.
