I don't know, but we've had 08, 20, 24, 25/1, 25/2, large logo 37, 40, 44,

45 (ish), 46 and 55s plus that funny Hydraulic thingy, so not too much to complain about there apart from some of the shapes.

The original 37s were released as refurbished locos, cut away buffer cowlings and the like. The new retooled model will feature the locos in near original condition.

What ever happened to the B1 and J39. I certainly wont waste my money on the 2005 catalogue. Kevin

. I certainly wont waste my money

Maybe its me, but I still think its strange that we have to "buy" catalogues to help us decide what we will "buy" from a manufacturer!

Yeah, it's odd that you have to pay to buy a huge advert!

That's a bit naive! The price of the catalogue will be included in with the subscription.

Yes but the freebies and special offers more than compensate for the cost of the subscription.

Only if the *freebies* are of any use to you. I seem to recall a series of private owner wagons for instance - not much use if, like me, you model the diesel & electric era.

True; but with the Hornby club you get a locs every year (albiet a little 0-4-0) whereas Bachmann only 'give' you a wagon.

And what use is that to any serious modeller?

What other benefits does being a member of the Bachmann club offer. My son is in the Hornby club and gets a small loco each year (I have seen these on ebay) plus a magazine. There is a discount card but to be honest I get a better deal from my local shop than a discount off some highly inflated prices elsewhere.

Where do you get the information about K3's being available soon. There is nothing on the November Bachmann web site.If they were available soon wouldn't they be flagged as such.

"The schedule of new locomotives running up to Christmas is looking impressive, with some of the Hall Class, J39's, Jinties, K3 and Class 37/0s due in before Christmas, depending on shipping and customs."

Cheers, John.

The information was in Bachmann's November Trade Bulletin, a confirming hard copy of which was received today.

Just looked again and found the reference at the top of the page. I might have expected to see them in the "On the Horizon" bit. But bearing in mind that if these are going to be on shelves before Christmas they have about 2 weks after the end of the this month. Why do I get the impression they don't have a cat in hells chance. I would have thought that to achieve that then they must be packing them in the boxes now.Are they or aren't they? It will be interesting to hear what my local dealer has been told.

Well; judging by the contents of the magazine, the collector's club is aimed more at my 9 year old daughter than serious modellers ;-)
