This was pointed out in my original posting Rich. The locos seems to be D8048 (from the scan of the original negative) and that is recorded as being the only class 20 to have had the logo applied *back-to-front* so to speak.

The double arrow symbol is reversed, so that the top arrow faces forward. They did that on the funnels of Sealink ships, too.
(Haven't we had this conversation this year already?)
