England did have its shining moments.

Believe it or not, that is precisely the kind of bike that I am looking for currently. A real lugger that will trail easily. I don't care about going fast.

Enough of this topic! That old horse is so dead its pathetic!
You notice that the ones who bring up that fact are the ones who NEED a Harly to attract chicks? ;^)
Because people are busy RIDING them instead of cutting them up.
Possibly, possibly not.
Where is the second biggest processor chip technology actualy designed?
ARM RISC.
If its genuine smarts you want, rather than pay a million monkeys a lot of money and hope they come up with someting, its Europe or Japan you need to go to.
The USA just has the big market, that's all, so you can make money out of relative tat.
There is very little basic R & D done in the USA - just development and marketing, marketing, marketing. And marketing.
And marketing.
I think the USA is the very best nation the world has ever seen. At bullshit. Itself mainly.
"Never in the field of human consumption have so many people been conned out of so much, by so few."
So, did the USA..... somewhere before yesterday..... We are the modern Romans....

You're talking out of emotion! Go get the facts and come back. Fact is, for the class HD builds and sells more bikes than anyone else!
As I suspected! You are as clueless as you appear!

Excellent bait I'll bite.
Uh maybe it's because the All Chrome, Bling-Bling, Show and no go, Loud piped, wannabe motorcyclist think it will make them cool attract beautiful loose women AND finally they'll be able to use the men's room without being laughed at by 5 year olds. But that's just a theory...might explain why I can't use viagra(might snap my neck)
Sure are pretty. Have to be at $400 a pop ever
6-8,000 miles for a valve adjustment. Overpriced and underpowered compared to the compition comes to mind when describing Ducati. But damn they are pretty... Aprilla? Saved once again and still too high."Ed Cregger"
Darn I always pictured you as a Moto Guzzi kind of guy.
They are not all quiet. The "Rockster" comes to mind...
Roll up your windows... most new cars these days are so quiet you can't even hear an ambulance, fire truck or police car until it's right on top of you and about to push you off the road to get by.
BULL MANURE! They still didn't see you....most of them are BLIND.
I am so tired of that ancient blatant lie, that I think I'll go out and glare at the dog a bit.

Still do...granted I think the brakes are by Nissen now. But the rest is still true AAMOF the carb'd models (what few they have as harley is mostly FI there days) used Keihin carb's.
Uh dude that's because well...the shovel head was old by then.
Well that's bull. They make one of the best OTR long haul bike out there. Best of all you aren't hauling around half of an accord and no one make jokes about it being a light truck(BMW joke) Go forth and learn. But don't blame me if you buy a V-Rod. I just don't do cruisers and that is what Harley sells.

RCV motors, Triumph motorcycles...GOOD beer as most of the stuff in the states isn't good enough to cook with much less drink.

The twin cam and MP's do not use motorcycles.
Yes it starts life as a Kawasaki KLR650. Gets a bigger fuel tank and runs on JP8...I want one,
100mpg when you are fire roads, gravel etc is a good thing.
