RC.air Clubs/fields/shops in/near Baltimore

I am visiting Baltimore/Washington DC for a week at the end of May-beginning June from the UK. I am interested in visiting RC.air clubs/flying sites and specialist RC.air shops in the area. Can anyone advise please. Thanks in advance.

Geb, There are several clubs in the area and a couple even specialize. The Baltimore Area Soaring Society (BASS) for instance is a glider only club. They sponsor the east coast HLG championships in that time period I believe. I am president of the Westminster Aeromodelers.

fields are about 30 miles outside of Baltimore city. We are having a fun fly on Sunday May 21st. If you are in town then I can help you get to the field to join us. We'd love to have you!

Check the AMA site for other clubs in the area. Most have web sites and contact info.
