Can someone please tell me the difference between a polyline and a region? Why is it that I am unable to extrude a simple drawing after making it a polyline with the pedit command? Thank you, G. De Angelis

It needs to be a closed polyline.

and you can't have lines that intersect (or are actually copies in the same location)
