Hi everybody,
I'm installing RSLogix500 V6.10.10 under Windows XP Professional on my HP5008ea mobile computer with AMD Sempron processor. The installation works good and even the activation move but at the end, when I try to lauch the software, it stops while starting and windows tells me that an error has occourred in RSLogix 500 Development Environment.
Is there anybody who can help me?

RSLogix 500 has several components in common with Microsoft Office, which can cause some conflicts during install and initial launch. One common solution is to open each MS-Office application and create and save one empty document each. This process re-creates one of the DLL files on which RSLogix 500 is dependent. Some of these MS-Office conflicts depend on non-English language packs in Windows, which you may have.
There is also a possibility that you have the old activation file, "evicom.sys" on your PC. Search for and delete "evicom.sys", but do not delete "evrsi.sys".
Several Knowledgebase documents pertaining to problems like yours: search the Knowledgebase with the keywords "RSLogix 500 Development Environment".

The problem was generated by conflicts with MS-Office. I resolved following your suggestion to create an empty document with each MS-Office application. Really I'm working with Italian Windows XP, Italian MS-Office and English RSLogix packages.
